Bulk Edit

It is possible to bulk edit issues and change the values of Checklist items in one operation.

The system overwrites any previous value if you set new Checklist item values during the bulk edit operation.

Bulk Transition

Since Checklist items and the associated values are most likely to be very different from issue to issue, it is not possible to modify any Checklist item during a bulk transition. This step has been taken in order to prevent overwriting Checklist item values during the workflow transition.

The presence of a Checklist Validator in a workflow may fail bulk transitions without any visible warning to the user. The bulk transition fails when a Checklist does not pass the condition set in the validator.
