Import a template on issue creation

available since 6.2.0

You can set up an automation rule to import a specific template upon issue creation.

This procedure is simplified, but you can add any condition between the trigger and the action.

To set up the rule:

1. Select the Issue created trigger. We suggest checking the box for Execute this rule immediately when the rule is triggered, instead of in the background so that the imported template appears the moment that the issue is created.

2. Add an Import template action. Complete the fields as follows:

   1. Checklists: Select the checklist(s) that you want the template to be imported to.

   2. Template: Select the template that you want to import. Once the template is selected, a preview will appear below the action’s fields.

   3. Action: Select Append or Replace.
      
      

      Open

      

       

3. Name and publish your automation rule.
