Working with workflow transitions
Checklists can be tailored to a particular workflow. By applying conditions, validators, and post functions to your workflow transitions, you can ensure that tasks are being completed properly and even automate changes to checklists when they are transitioned between steps.
Both conditions and validators control the circumstances in which transitions can occur. With Checklist, they can be used to only allow transitions to occur when all items are checked, when the checklist contains a specific number of items, when all items have a status, or whatever other rules might suit your workflow.
Meanwhile, post functions carry out additional tasks immediately after a transition occurs. With the Checklist app, they can be used to add new items to the checklist, uncheck all items, modify the statuses of all items, and more.
