You need administrator rights in Jira to perform the tasks on this page.
You can create default local items, which are editable checklist items that will be added to a checklist by default whenever a new issue is created. For more information about default local items and how they’re different from other types of items, see https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC5/pages/2026831955.
In some cases, you may want to have different default local items for different issue types (such as bugs and tasks). As long as each of these issue types are in a different project, this is straightforward to achieve in Jira.
If your issue types are within the same project, see https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC5/pages/2094465061 instead.
To create different sets of default local items for your different issue types:
Create a Checklist custom field (for details, see https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC5/pages/2020900885).
Within that custom field, create a configuration scheme context for the first project and issue type that you want to create default local items for (for details, see https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC5/pages/1966145581).
Create default local items for the configuration scheme context you just created (for details, see https://okapya.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CHKDOC5/pages/1966178352).
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining project(s) and issue type(s).
